Descriptions of NOBLEST's Diverse Range of Tube Heat Exchangers
1. Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger/Fixed Tube and Sheet Heat Exchanger:
NOBLEST Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger The fixed tube-plate heat exchanger consists of a tube plate and a shell at both ends, making it widely utilized due to its simplistic structure. This type refers to a tube and shell heat exchanger where the tube plates at both ends of the bundle are welded to the shell. The tube plate can also serve as a flange after welding with the shell, and is connected with the flange of the pipe box by bolts.
Applications: This equipment facilitates energy-saving heat transfer between materials and finds extensive application in industries such as petroleum, chemical, petrochemical, metallurgy, electric power, light industry, and food. With the ongoing expansion of energy-saving technology applications, the use of heat exchangers for high and low-temperature heat recovery has yielded significant economic benefits.
The Advantage: The primary advantage lies in its simple structure, ensuring the minimum inner diameter of the shell while maintaining the same heat transfer surface. However, a notable disadvantage arises when there is a significant temperature difference between the shell and pipe medium, leading to thermal stress that may cause pipe and tube plate failure, leakage, or instability. Additionally, maintenance and cleaning processes for the shell are inconvenient. Despite being widely used in general applications, this design is limited by temperature differences.
2. U-Shaped Tube Heat Exchanger:
NOBLEST U-Shaped Tube Heat Exchanger This type of shell and tube heat exchanger belongs to petrochemical equipment and is composed of main components such as the tube box, shell, and tube bundle. The U-shaped tube heat exchanger has only one tube plate, with both ends of the pipe fixed onto the same tube plate.
Main Features: :
Δ The tube bundle can freely expand and contract without generating thermal stress due to the temperature difference between the tube and shell,
Δ Excellent thermal compensation performance;
Δ The shell side features a double-tube flow, offering a longer flow path and higher flow velocity, resulting in superior heat transfer performance;
Δ High pressure resistance;
Δ The tube bundle can be withdrawn from the shell for maintenance and cleaning, making the structure simple and cost-effective.
Applications:
Ideal for situations with a large temperature difference between the tube and shell walls, or where the shell-side medium is prone to scaling while the tube-side medium is clean and less prone to scaling. Suitable for high temperature, high pressure, and strongly corrosive conditions.
3. Floating Head Tube Heat Exchanger:
NOBLEST Floating Head Heat Exchanger In this type, only one end of the tube plate is fixed to the shell, while the other end can move freely relative to the shell, known as the floating head. The floating head comprises a floating tube plate, a hook ring, and a floating head end cover. It is detachable, allowing the tube bundle to be drawn from the shell. The thermal deformation of the tube bundle and the shell are not constrained, thus no thermal stress is generated.
Features:
The primary advantages include convenient cleaning between tubes, and no thermal stress generation. However, its complex structure and higher cost compared to fixed tube-plate heat exchangers, larger equipment size, higher material consumption, and the inability to inspect the floating head's small cover during operation are notable drawbacks. Additionally, it has higher sealing requirements during manufacturing. Suitable for applications with a large wall temperature difference between the shell and the tube bundle, or where the shell medium is prone to scaling.
Applications:
Δ The tube bundle is ingeniously designed to be easily removable, ensuring effortless cleaning of both the tube and shell processes.
Δ Remarkably adaptable, our heat exchanger operates seamlessly regardless of the temperature difference between mediums.
Δ Engineered to withstand extreme conditions, it performs flawlessly under high temperatures up to 450 degrees and pressures up to 6.4 MPa.
Δ Perfectly suited for environments with severe scaling, maintaining optimal performance even in challenging conditions.
Δ Built for resilience, it is ideal for applications involving easily corroded pipes, extending the lifespan of your equipment.
