This type refers to a tube and shell heat exchanger where the tube plates at both ends of the bundle are welded to the shell. The tube plate can also serve as a flange after welding with the shell, and is connected with the flange of the pipe box by bolts.

Applications: This equipment facilitates energy-saving heat transfer between materials and finds extensive application in industries such as petroleum, chemical, petrochemical, metallurgy, electric power, light industry, and food. With the ongoing expansion of energy-saving technology applications, the use of heat exchangers for high and low-temperature heat recovery has yielded significant economic benefits.

The Advantage: The primary advantage lies in its simple structure, ensuring the minimum inner diameter of the shell while maintaining the same heat transfer surface. However, a notable disadvantage arises when there is a significant temperature difference between the shell and pipe medium, leading to thermal stress that may cause pipe and tube plate failure, leakage, or instability. 2. U-Shaped Tube Heat Exchanger:

NOBLEST U-Shaped Tube Heat Exchanger This type of shell and tube heat exchanger belongs to petrochemical equipment and is composed of main components such as the tube box, shell, and tube bundle. The U-shaped tube heat exchanger has only one tube plate, with both ends of the pipe fixed onto the same tube plate.
